¹⁵⁶ Your mercies are great, O Yahweh;
preserve my life according to your ordinances.
¹⁵⁷ My persecutors and enemies are many,
yet I do not turn aside from your testimonies.
¹⁵⁸ I see the treacherous and I feel disgust,
because they do not heed your word.
